The COROS Heart Rate Monitor, equipped with a new Bluetooth chip offering superior computing capabilities and low power consumption, does not support ANT+. However, it pairs effortlessly with smartphones for seamless workout tracking. To utilize your phone for data recording, consider using popular apps like Strava, MyFitnessPal, or RunTracker from the iOS and Google Play stores.

While the current COROS app does not allow direct activity recording, this feature is planned for implementation in 2024. The heart rate monitor extends its connectivity beyond phones, connecting to fitness watches, gym equipment, cycling computers, and more.

Tattoos might affect the monitor's performance; it's recommended to adjust the placement, such as on the bicep or forearm, for optimal readings, especially on heavily tattooed skin.

Charging is simple: connect the provided charging cable to the back of the monitor, and an orange light indicates charging. A green light confirms full charge. The device boasts a long-lasting battery life, lasting up to 38 hours during active use or 80 days in standby mode, and recharges in just two hours with the magnetic cable.

One of its key features is wear detection, which automatically turns the monitor on and off based on whether it's being worn, and it connects to paired devices seamlessly at the start of each workout.

The COROS Heart Rate Monitor offers a comfortable and quick cleaning experience, with a breathable fabric band that's softer than chest straps. The adjustable band ensures a secure fit with its textured surface and easy-to-use buckle.
